Youth and Family Program

I hope that everyone enjoyed Youth Ministry Month in April. The kids were happy and proud to have shared their talents and love with all of you. Thank you to those people who have signed up to volunteer in the Youth Ministry Program in a variety of ways. You are a blessing to our kids and we could not have the successful program that we have without you. If you have not yet had a chance to fill out a volunteer slip for the Youth Ministry but you would like to be a part of our team please see me. We would love to have you join us. Our field trip to see The Hobbit at Venice Little Theater was a LOT of fun. A group of twenty got together for a delicious pot luck lunch then went off to the show. The kids who were the actors did a fantastic job and we all had a blast! I think it may have inspired a few of our youth to pursue acting careers.

On June 15, Father’s Day, the kids will be doing something special to honor the "dads" in our congregation. I hope all the dads will come that day to be a part of the special blessing from the children.

We’ve been having such a good time with our family activities that we have planned a Family Beach Night on July 18. All the families of Unity are welcome to join us at Venice Beach to play, talk and relax. You can even bring a picnic for dinner if you would like.
