YOUTH MINISTRY NEWS

Thank you so much to everyone who helped to make the Amazing Creation Studio, our first summer church camp, a big success. From planners to participants to volunteers, everyone played an important role in the creative process that was the focus of the whole program. We had fun, made friends and tapped into the creative potential with which God has blessed each one of us. Next summer we will do it again, bigger and better!

Our Kid’s Wednesday Workshops will continue each Wednesday evening through August 18th. We enjoy dinner together at 6:30 pm followed by the workshop at 7:00 pm. A $1 love offering per person is requested to help defray the cost of the meal. Thank you to the wonderful volunteers that have shared their time and talents with us so far. We have learned about all kinds of exciting things. In the coming weeks the topics will be Yoga (8/4), Music (8/11) and an end of the summer party (8/18). I hope you will join us.

We are hosting another “Family Movie Night” on Friday, August 6 starting at 7:00 pm. The movie is free and open to all of our Unity families and their friends. The feature presentation will be “Diary of a Wimpy Kid”. We will enjoy popcorn and drinks in fellowship hall while we watch the show.

Our next Family Sunday will be held on August 29th during the second service. We will have our “Moving Up” Celebration to honor the students who are moving to a new class and are taking the next step in their own spiritual journeys.
