Unity is a worldwide spiritual movement based on the Truth teachings of Christ Jesus. The love of God is reflected in our Sunday services which include uplifting music, meditation and spiritual tools for transforming your life. Unity Church of Venice is a teaching, healing and prayer ministry. We offer classes for adults, teens, and children.

What Does Unity Believe?

1. God is absolute good, present everywhere and loves every person unconditionally all the time.

2. Everyone is created in the image and likeness of God. Therefore, our very nature is good, and we each have the same Christ spirit in us that was in Christ Jesus.

3. Our thoughts are creative, and we have the power to change our lives, our health, and our entire experience of living by changing the way we think.

4. Affirmative prayer and meditation can open our minds and hearts to experience the presence of God. We connect with God by speaking words of Truth, and then by being still as we listen for Divine guidance.

5. Spiritual growth is achieved by practicing and living these spiritual principles on a daily basis.

UNITY began as a New Thought Ministry over 100 years ago in Kansas City, Missouri. Today we have a worldwide ministry with over 900 churches in the United States and in more than 50 other countries around the world. We are affiliated with Unity School of Christianity, publishers of The Daily Word.

Unity’s history is filled with stories of answered prayer, miracle, prosperity demonstrations, blessings and healings in body, mind and soul. Our future holds no less. As we awaken to the Divinity within us and the awareness that we are God’s magnificent creation, our individual spiritual growth speeds the awakening and healing of our world.
