Creative Giving

Thank you to the good folks that found the “Stitches From the Heart” box (by the front door of Fellowship Hall) and left us some yarn. That is also where you can deposit the little bonnets, blankets and booties. There is another pretty box near there for prayer shawls, or you can give them to me when you see me. Judy Walthall has now joined our group of knitters. Anyone else that would like to knit or crochet little baby things, I have the yarn, needles and patterns for you.

Just tell me or give me a call. It is good therapy!

Stitches from the Heart Group

We have projects for you:  We have been asked to knit helmet liners for our military and we have the pattern for that (note: must be made with wool yarn for fire hazard reasons),  hats for newborn and preemie babies, and prayer shawls for those dealing with illness.

If you want to learn, we have teachers looking for students. And if you are not interested in knitting or crocheting but still want to help, we always need yarn, especially 100% wool for the troops.

So, friends, let's give of our creativity!
