Unity Board of Trustees

At the 2009 Board of Trustees Retreat, each Trustee chose to champion a specific church function for 12 months. Their dedicated interest gives you the opportunity to put forth constructive, creative ideas and channel your volunteer spirit to contribute to the continued harmonious growth of your spiritual home. We encourage you to seek out the dedicated Trustee whenever you may have a question, idea, recommendation, or blockage concerning any issue, particularly for:

Building & Grounds: Shawn Singeisen oordinates various efforts to maintain and enhance the buildings and grounds.

Building Construction and Alteration: Phil Eason and Shawn Singeisen. Organize, monitor and/or participate in all major renovation, alteration, or building construction.

Community Outreach: Susan Dahn. Support and provide input for community outreach activities initiated by the minister, volunteers, or Board of Trustees (at present the Be Peace activity).

Fellowship: Lois Sposa, Bev Arnold, Mary Loeffler. Cooperate with the Hospitality Team to provide hands on assistance and support for church sponsored events.

Finances: Jay Kasmark, Susan Dahn. Oversee church financial affairs to maintain solvency while allowing maximum flexibility and growth.

Music: Stephen Eittreim. Develop a viable, participating program which reflects current church musical assets, talents, and culture.

Prayer & Healing: Neal VandeRee. Act as liaison between Board and Chaplains and remain aware of other matters of healing and prayers within the church.

Sunday Services Support: Bev Arnold. Provide Board liaison support to all Sunday service functions, such as greeting, name tags, ushers, sound, platform décor, etc.

Volunteer Services: Mary Loeffler. Act as Board liaison and support for various volunteer team(s), such as Adopt-ARoad, Public Relations, Friendship Team, Volunteer Special Coordinator, Special Projects.

Youth & Family: Phil Eason. Meet regularly with children’s church director and keep Board advised of needs, funding requests, seminars, etc. relevant to dynamic activity.
